The advanced in-depth training class will cover all of the critical OSHA requirements and ANSI standards related to electrical safety of machinery – focused specifically on the applicable US regulations for machinery. The objectives for the seminar is to improve understanding of OSHA and ANSI requirements specifically related to the electrical safety of industrial machines and equipment.

Our training course focuses includes the following electrical standards and regulations:
  • NFPA 79 - Electrical Standards for Industrial Machines
  • OSHA Regulations for Electrical Safety - CFR 1910 Subpart S
  • National Electric Code (NEC)

  • This is an in-depth electrical training course. It focuses primarily on NFPA 79 – Electrical Standards for Industrial Machines, as the overwhelming majority of the electrical safety standards are contained in this document. However, it does cover all three standards above.

    Upon completion of this seminar, participants should have a significantly improved understanding of the electrical safety regulations and standards that apply to machines and equipment.

  • Subpart S - Electrical equipment and electrical hazards.
  • Section 147 -Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout)
